  6. AmiComSys is a AMarquee client program which you use to send messages
  7. to other people on a tcp/ip-net - e.g Internet. 
  8.  
  9. Now you can say Hi! to your friends on the net, or just see if they are
  10. connected.
  11.  
  12. You can send normal messages, Chat requests and WEB-requests.
  13.  
  14. Future updates will include support for file transfer and more.
  15.  
  16. Please put it in your Online-script and enjoy ...

  18. AmiComSys requires amarquee.library v.43+ in LIBS:. Get it from
  19. the AMarquee-package - aminet:comm/net/AMarqueeX.xx.lha

  39. NEW: Users can now be banned, which means that they can not send messages to you.
  40. NEW: NAME and COMMENT added to arguments and ToolTypes.
  41. e.g AmiComSys "COMMENT=No comment!"
  42. NEW: Send messages with patternmatching. e.g. #?.com, send to all .com-hosts.
  43. NEW: Multi messages (sent with patternmatching) can be turned off. (registered)
  44. NEW: Will try to reconnect one time every minute if connection is lost. Notice
  45. that it will connect immediately if the main window is activated.
  46. Useful if you put AmiComSys in WBStartUp drawer.
  47. NEW: New tooltype and setting: Reconnect=Yes/No. Specify if you want AmiComSys
  48. to try to reconnect when connection is lost or just quit. Useful if you

  62. BUGFIX: Stack overflow led to a crash. A stack of 4096 bytes shall now
  63. be sufficient for the GadTools version. The MUI-version's stack is
  64. automatically set to 8192 bytes.
  65. NEW: The settings is now divided into several windows for the GadTools version.
  66. NEW: The main window is now resizable.
  67. NEW: Logging implemented. Can be set in the logging settings.
  68. NEW: Message history implemented. Can be found in the Windows/Message History menu.
  69. NEW: The SEND button is automatically pressed when you press ENTER/TAB in the
  70. message string gadget.
  71. NEW: When a new message arrives the Amiga beeps. Can be set on/off in Program function
  72. settings. 
  73. NEW: The send-off time for a message will be showed in title of the message requester.
  74. NEW: The client user's online time is now showed in the client info.
  75. NEW: The positions and sizes of the main and history window are saved to disc.
